About Me
My name is J. I’m an avid reader of romance novels of all
sorts. Once upon a time, I was an English Composition instructor and worked at
a popular winery/restaurant located in the Midwest, I’m a stay-at-home mom to 3
awesome little babes and one fat cat that I share with my husband.
Romance books are my thing, and I’ve made writing reviews
into my personal hobby. Why romance books? Well, my bachelor and master’s
degrees are in English, and while I liked a lot of the kinds of books I read
and analyzed, the romance genre is just fun. Romance novels are sexy and
swoony, and I love falling in love over and over with each book I read.
My favorite kinds of romance are sports, new adult, boss/workplace, alpha hero, billionaire, cowboy, and second chance. Even if I’m not familiar with an author, I’ll likely give them read if their book falls into one of these categories. Kinds of romance books that I’m not that into are anything without a HEA or a lot of the time if they have cliffhangers. However, I’ll make an exception with the cliffhanger thing if I know the next book is coming out pretty much one right after the other.
