Made for Me by Natasha Madison

Wow. Just wow. Natasha Madison does it again with Made for Me. It’s the first in her new Made For series, and it’s so beyond heartfelt and romantic and just all in all wonderfully written. This is Chase and Julia’s story, and if you’ve read her previous books in this character universe then you’ll likely remember them. He’s Matthew’s son and a doctor, which is rather different than the others in his hockey-playing family. She’s a social worker and connected to the family by Jillian who’s married to Michael, Chase’s cousin. Julia’s been dealing with a tough case at work, and it’s through that case that a lot of the drama that propels the story occurs. Things before between Chase and Julia were pretty platonic (though sometimes a bit flirty), but then their story starts to take a turn. However, with their connected history will the relationship between these two evolve into something greater, or will it fizzle before it has the chance to begin?

I absolutely adored these two! Chase is such a total doll. I mean, he’s a doctor that looks like Thor? Plus, he’s genuine with a heart of gold? Yes please! Then there’s Julia, and I think it would be impossible to not instantly fall in love with her character. She’s kind and really cares about working with people. What she goes through in this book and how she copes completely endeared me to her.

And the plotline is both well done and seriously thought out. The way this romance comes together is dramatic but poignant and peppered with plenty of comedic moments usually brought on by the secondary characters that we’ve already met in previous books. I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll just say that I loved Chase and Julia’s story through and through.

What these characters dealt with made me equal parts emotional and delighted at different times, and this book is another must read from this author. If you’ve read any of the other books about this family of characters or even just are looking for a solidly good romance, then I highly recommend this one.
