Kaplan is a bit of grump and kind of down on the idea of
love, which is oddly endearing with his character. He’s refused finding someone,
because he doesn’t want some vapid pretense of a romance with some socialite, which
leads him to avoiding any potential for a real relationship. Then there’s
Bianca who’s just gone through the wringer with her ex and isn’t looking for love
herself. There’s this amazing push and pull between them, and their banter is hilarious.
Their interactions are cheeky and fun, and I absolutely love Kaplan and Bianca
together.
This is hands down the best way this series could’ve ended.
I won’t give anything away, but I completely adored literally all of this book.
The drama? It’s there in just the right amount. The comedy? On point. The
steam? Oh my my, get me a fan. This cast of characters is one I’m not ready to
let go of yet, but the perfection of how this series ended with this book has left
me smiling.
While I’m sad to have to say goodbye to the Abbott-Fritzes,
Kaplan and Bianca’s story is a must read that’s left me satisfied. I’m excited
to see what this author has in store for us with her next series and can’t wait
to hopefully revisit the characters of Boston’s Billionaire Bachelors.
