Something Like Hate by Piper Rayne

Tense but hot, this is a second chance romance that got me right away. This is Miles and Bryce’s story, and we’re finally getting more of these two since we met them back with the Kingsmen. We find out what happened between the football player and the reporter two years ago that even further cemented their disdain for one another, and we get to see how their relationship changes.

I absolutely love this storyline and these characters! Bryce is more complicated than I originally thought she'd be at the start, but that makes her all the more relatable. I'm all about an imperfectly perfect character, and that's how I feel about her. She's genuinely interesting. And Miles? Talk about swoonworthy! I don't want to give anything away, but he's about as sweet as can be in the best way.

This is enemies to lovers at its finest, and if you love sports romance then you need to give this book a read. The ending sets up the next book in the series, and I'm so excited to see what happens next with Damon's story in Something Like Lust.
