Icebound by Meredith Trapp

I love a good age-gap romance, and this one's hockey, too? Sign me up! This is Rhode and Nina's story. He's the former hockey playboy, and she's a college student that's a decade younger. He's not super excited that she's so young, which causes conflict.

Nina's quite feisty and a bit atypical, which I love. She's got dreams, and I don't want to spoil anything, but things don't exactly go as planned. Then there's Rhode, who's a loveable crocheting cat daddy pro-hockey player. I enjoy the fact that he's not cookie cutter and very different than what I normally expect out These two truly are opposites that attract. The big issue is that Rhode really wants a woman closer to his age, and he thinks Nina is a 30-year-old doctor. It's definitely a big problem for him, and there's a lot of conflicting feelings he winds up having about everything.

Icebound is an enjoyable read, and if you love hockey and/or age gap romance, then you'll definitely want to check this one out! This is the first book in the Boundless Players series, and I'm looking forward to more from this bunch.
