The Reckless Union by Monica Murphy

Book three in the Wedded Bliss series starts after Charlotte’s been kidnapped by her crazed ex and is an emotionally charged ending to the trilogy. After book two’s cliffhanger, we’re met with what’s become of Charlotte following Seamus’ abduction of her. I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say that this book makes Perry and Charlotte’s story come full circle and those lingering questions you may have had after reading the first couple books regarding their relationship will be dealt with.

I love how Perry and Charlotte develop both personally and together in this final book. Perry in a sense grows up throughout the duration of the books, and Charlotte becomes her own person, which is so satisfying to see happen. These two are young and naïve in so many ways, but together they wind up stronger. This series is a great example of what I adore about reading books that involve young love. The true evolution of what it means to love and be loved and come into your own is a pervasive theme here, and it’s why I find Perry and Charlotte’s story so endearing.

Also, I really enjoyed the suspense and tension during this book and series. There’s always something going on underneath the surface, which adds interest to the story. I like that this series had me anxious to see what happens next, and it kept me engaged the whole time.

Angsty and steamy with some very sweet moments, The Reckless Union is the fantastic finale to this series. If you’ve read the other books, then you absolutely need to find out how the whole story ends, and if you haven’t read the series yet, you’re going to want to.
