The Deal Dilemma by Meagan Brandy

Sweet, drama filled, super spicy, and a total emotional rollercoaster, this story got me right from the start and never let up. Crew and Davis’ story begins with her having a “problem” that she needs Crew to help her out with. She’s sick of never having been with anyone and goes to Crew for help. That’s what sets off this addictive goodness, and throughout the book we get more and more of what’s really happening and then the tension really ratchets up when start to find out what’s become of Davis’ brother and Crew’s ex-best friend. 

Crew is hands down my new favorite hero. His character is everything I adore in a romance: considerate and lovable but such a grump and rather filthy, too. He tries holding off from what Davis is asking for a while, and the way he’s written you can just feel his exasperation at times. Then when things go further? Crew is hot. Like sizzling. Like someone get me a cold drink quick. But then he’s also such a doll, and I love that I didn’t expect that at first. I’m a sucker for a good surprise, and this book delivers. 

And then there’s Davis, and I immediately liked her. I think it would be hard not to. She’s cute and coy and unabashedly herself, and it totally works for her character. It’s adorable how unassuming she is, and the way she is with Crew is had me grinning like a fool. 

Plus, the way this story twists and turns with all the drama truly makes for an addictive read. I won’t give anything away, but seriously the way things went down left me with so many emotions. There were moments that were difficult, but the way Crew and Davis persevered was brilliantly heartfelt and satisfying. 

I could keep going on and on about why I loved this book but suffice to say this one is absolutely on my list of favorites for the year. Crew and Davis’ story is phenomenally compelling, and I couldn’t get enough.
