Caught by Love by Melissa Foster

Gripping from the start, Caught by Love is steamy and interesting. This is a passionate romance that will pull you in from its first pages.

This book features Archer, the growly alpha of a man, and Indi, the strong and fearless business owner. When the story begins, we find that these two have been hooking up for the past few months, but it’s always been surface level essentially and really nothing more than a night here or there. Indi’s best friend happens to be Archer’s sister, so they’ve known each other as acquaintances and more recently as someone to scratch an itch. However, things start to turn and become more involved, and we get to see how an occasional dalliance evolves into something more.

There is a lot of intensity in these pages, and I found this book almost addicting. The chemistry between Archer and Indi is so great that it seemingly sizzles from the pages of the book. I loved how hotheaded moments could turn into something else so quickly, and the changes between them at times were so palpable. I absolutely love when an author writes two characters that burn so brightly you can feel the heat coming from the pages of a book, and Foster has managed to do just that.

And Archer and Indi! They’re phenomenally written. Archer is as gruff and crass and macho as it gets, but then he’s got another other side to him, and I loved the ways he changed during the course of the book. He’s a far more complex character than I thought he’d be in those first couple pages, and I adored all of him. Then there’s Indi, and she’s such a force but at the same time vulnerable. The warring sides of her made her into such a deep character, and I loved her from the get-go. She’s got a lot on her plate with her new boutique and thriving business, but then she’s also got to deal with her parents’ expectations. I love how multifaceted her character is. Put them together, and I couldn’t get enough of the back and forth between Archer and Indi. Their banter is fantastic and entertaining, and their characters play so well off each other.

Moving and sexy, this book is a must read for romance lovers. It’s the sort of book that draws you in, and you’re not going to want to put it down.
