Make-Believe Match by Melanie Harlow

This is yet another fantastic installment in the Cherry Tree Harbor series. This marriage of convenience romance features Lexi on her quest to save her family's ski resort and Devlin who's in real estate. She loves her family's fledgling ski resort so much that she's willing to do whatever it takes to keep it, even when that means having to go with what's expected of her which is to marry to inherit it.

I absolutely adore these characters! These two have chemistry for days, and Lexi's relatable, instantly loveable character made this book even more than I had hoped for. There's something about her plucky resolve and eagerness to save her family's business that I instantly loved about her.

And Devlin? Yes, please! His charming nature won me over right away! Something about this series that gets me every time is Harlow's way of creating these male characters that are instantaneous book boyfriend material. I love that despite them not being exactly perfect, they're perfect for the story.

I love a good enemies to lovers/forced proximity romance, and Make-Believe Match delivers. If you haven't started reading this series yet, then I highly recommend it.
