Only Mine by Kennedy Fox

With Only Mine, we finally get to Everleigh’s story, and I loved every bit of it. This book is swoony and wickedly spicy with enough drama to make it all deliciously entertaining. At the start, we meet Archer who’s just gotten out of jail after being there for five years for a crime he didn’t commit. He’s getting a fresh start moving to Lawton Ridge where he’ll be working with his best friend and former cellmate Tyler (from Only Us). Due to a serious lack of available real estate, Archer winds up moving in with Everleigh, and their attraction is mutual despite them just being friends and roommates. However, this isn’t some easy friends to lovers romance, and a lot of tense and drama filled things happen along the way.

So, I genuinely love Tyler and Noah from the previous books in the series, but I think Archer has taken the top spot as my favorite hero of the series. He’s so completely likeable and the way he treats Everleigh is simply swoonworthy. And Everleigh is every bit feisty and funny as she was in the previous books in the series, but in this one, we see her more vulnerable and sweet side. Her character is more endearing than I expected, and she kept me smiling. Together, these two are not only fun and adorable but utterly hot, too. Their chemistry is amazing and to say that their relationship is spicy is putting it mildly.

Also, there’s been this sort of underlying theme to this series that’s basically “your past will catch up to you,” and it creates this phenomenally compelling and exciting storyline that’s incredibly suspenseful. I love that there’s this element of wondering what’s really going on and how it will all turn out in the end, and it seriously makes for the sort of book you can’t put down. From the start of this book, I felt sucked into Archer and Everleigh’s story, and I loved it all.

Archer and Everleigh’s story is romantic, suspenseful, and beyond steamy, and it’s smalltown, contemporary romance goodness. This whole series is wonderfully addictive, and this book is a definite must read.
